This episode is with Ngangiwumirr and Arrernte woman Rayleen Brown, eminent Australian authority on native food.

As far as social efficiency goes, Rayleen’s industry seems like a total no brainer to me. Prioritising wild-harvested native foods with indigenous conservation techniques is such a powerful opportunity to contend with two big problems at the same time!

Those problems being 1) healing the as yet conspicuously-unspeakable Australian genocide, in relation to 2) our perpetual deficit of willingness for meaningful climate change action. The Great Australian Suffrage of Environmental Connectivity, volume 2020.

Know what I’m getting at? I reckon we need to urgently increase our sustainability efforts, and respecting the expertise of the greatest conservationists in history seems like a bloody obvious start!!!

And it begins with food.
